Windows NT 4.0 Questions
- Why does the modem disconnect when I try to dial-up?
- This is probably due to a mis-set setting in your Network Tallahassee connection profile.
- Open up Dial-Up Networking, select the Network Tallahassee "Phonebook entry."
- Click on the [More] button and choose, "Edit entry and modem properties..."
- From the "Basic" tab, make sure the following settings are correct:
Phone number: (see Network Tallahassee Account Settings)
[Configure...] button
- From the "Server" tab, make sure the following settings are correct (see image below):

- From the "Security" tab, make sure the following setting is correct:
Authentication and encryption policy: Accept any authentication including clear text
