How to connect to the Internet
Windows Vista
- Click on the Start button then Connect To.
- Right-click on your dial-up connection icon and choose Properties.
- Update the dial-up phone number if necessary and click OK.
Windows XP
- Click on Start (then Settings if it exists) then Control Panel.
- If you see Pick a category, click on Network and Internet Connections.
- Double-click the Network Connections icon.
- Right-click on your dial-up connection icon and choose Properties.
- Update the dial-up phone number if necessary and click OK.
Windows 2000
- Click on Start then Settings then Control Panel.
- Double-click the Network Connections icon.
- Right-click on your dial-up connection icon and choose Properties.
- Update the dial-up phone number if necessary and click OK.
Windows 95, 98, ME
- Double-click the My Computer icon on your desktop.
- Double-click the Dial-up Networking icon.
- Right-click on your dial-up connection icon and choose Properties.
- Update the dial-up phone number if necessary and click OK.
Mac OS X
- From the main desktop, click the Apple menu then System Preferences.
- Under the Internet & Network section, choose Network.
- Click the PPP tab.
- Update the dial-up phone number if necessary and click Apply Now.
Mac OS 9
- From the main desktop, click the Apple menu then Control Panels then Remote Access.
- Update the dial-up phone number if necessary.
